Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Every SaferPhone is set up individually with GrapheneOS after you place your order. For the right of withdrawal, the decisive factor is whether you additionally chose a physical hardware modification (e.g. removal of the camera, microphone or speaker).

Without a hardware modification, the statutory right of withdrawal applies: you can return your device within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason. This requires that the device is in unused condition, in its original packaging and free of any signs of use.

With a hardware modification, this does not apply: if a physical, non-reversible modification has been carried out, the item qualifies as goods made to customer specifications within the meaning of § 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB. In this case there is no statutory right of withdrawal — the purchase is binding once the order has been confirmed.

Regardless of the right of withdrawal, the statutory warranty of 24 months for defects in materials and workmanship remains fully in place for every device. Should you receive a defective device, please contact our support immediately — we will take care of repair or replacement.
